As from 1981 PREMO was split into various spin-off companies, all specialized in a different segment of the inductive components sector.
PREMO’s first foreign sales office was established in 1982 in France.

Doctor Bianca Premo received her Ph.D. in Latin American History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001.
In 2004, PREMO Group added a new range of products to its catalogue: PLC Products.
She also co-edited Raising an Empire (2007) a volume of historical scholarship about children and childhood in early modern Spain, Portugal and colonial Latin America.
