Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable person who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment. Willing to take on some janitorial and supportive kitchen tasks, such as washing dishes and appliances, emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, restocking items, and performing other tasks to ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and prepared for guests. Night time availability 5-6 days per week. As a Dishwasher- Food Service/Restaurant, you are an integral part of our kitchen team; ensuring safety, and cleanliness, and keeping the house in order. You'll wash dishes, tools, and equipment, as well as maintain the organization of walk-ins, freezers, storage rooms, and prep spaces. You are also considered part of the Prep crew and may have food-handling tasks such as portioning and prepping items. Dishwasher- Food Service/Restaurant Responsibilities: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in tools using a dish machine as well as 3 bay sink hand-washing protocols. Ensure all food handling tools and utensils are clean, sanitized, and organized for use. Sweep and mop the floors to maintain clean areas of the restaurant Take out the trash and recycling and ensure exterior of building is clean and well maintained. Perform deep cleaning tasks on a regular schedule to maintain our equipment and workspace. Participate in prepping ingredients for service by chopping vegetables, portioning, and assembling other items for the kitchen team.
