Current BLS required
Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment and a working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.
Minimum of 2+ years experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room if not from an accredited training program.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Six months of MA experience or successful completion of a MedicalAssistant or Nursing Assistant program from an accredited school required
Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 90 days of hire
BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required
Maintains current certifications in required emergency response trainings (i.e. BLS)
