Responsibilities

Refill and maintain automated dispensing system. Prepare orders, maintain inventory, and repackage bulk medications. Receive and store incoming supplies.
Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information. Communicate with external resources such as retail pharmacies, provider officers, and data exchanges.
Identify and assist with patient medication access including, benefit investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance.
Assist Pharmacist in preparation of patient education materials.
May give immunizations in accordance with state laws.
May serve as pharmacist extender in situations such as Caregiver Model of the Future responsibilities. May monitor compliance with regulatory standards and be responsible for inventory and drug shortage management and optimization.

Responsibilities
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist. Perform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services.

2. Perform data entry:
· Perform data entry of patient medication profiles and patient chart audits
· Discharge patients from CPR+ at the end of therapy
3. Pharmacy Liaison:
· Act as liaison for the Pharmacy department
· Communicate with doctors, nurses, and hospitals regarding patient care
· Perform triplicate request and being able to follow up in a timely matter
· Being able to communicate well with the pharmacy staff and supervisor
· Coordinate triplicate requests and their documentation as appropriate including exemption forms for all narcotic patients
4. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.

Description:
Will consider traveler with IR or EP experience.
Census averages 12-15 patients per day.
Patient types include cardiac catheterization for coronary disease and peripheral catheterization for peripheral artery disease, including AAA repairs.
Electrophysiology experience with arrhythmia studies, ablations, and device implants is essential.
Required skills include sterile technique and familiarity with Cath/EP/IR supplies and equipment.
Clienttion safety knowledge is a must.
Team includes a manager, assistant manager, five other radiology technologists, and eight registered nurses.
Department utilizes EPIC for EMR.
Equipment includes Philips Azurion Imaging Equipment, Carto for EP ablations, and IVUS/FFR technology.
Scheduling includes one weekend on-call per month.
On-call schedule consists of 1-2 nights per week and one weekend call per month.
Holiday expectations include working one major holiday during the contract.
Requests for time off can be accommodated depending on dates.
Shift times are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with four 10-hour shifts per week.
Schedule is planned six weeks at a time.
Scrub color is blue, provided by the hospital.
The department culture is focused on building a new team.
