Educational Background and Work Experience Two years of teaching experience preferred with a proven record of high scholar achievement. Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 from a competitive college or university; Master's degree preferred. South Carolina certification in multicategorical special education, elementary, or middle level education. Valid out-of-state certification is also acceptable. Compensation The starting salary for all lead teachers at LSC is $53,000, with the potential for a first-year teacher to earn up to a total compensation package of $63,000 with performance pay, perfect attendance, and additional work stipends. All full-time employees receive six personal days and a $500 mental wellness stipend. The salary for this position is very competitive and commensurate with experience.
