Care for the health and well-being of children while they are in the program. Give first aid treatment when necessary and report any incidents or injuries promptly to parent, director and branch as necessary. 5. Provide appropriate and consistent discipline methods that reinforce positive behaviors in an age appropriate manner. 6. Report and document notable behavior and situations to the appropriate supervisor, according to policies and procedures. 7. Initiate, strengthen and maintain good communication-both verbal and non-verbal-with all school personnel, families, children, parents and other community agencies. Positively explain and interpret program standards and policies. Provide ongoing and continuous feedback to parents regarding their child's development, including parent conferences and assessments. 8. Maintain required program records. 9. Attend and actively participate in regular program activities, department trainings, staff meetings and special events as scheduled. 10. Keep the center clean and presentable at all times. 11. Ensure Licensing standards/regulations are met at all times. 12. Other duties as assigned.
