Hourly: $15.00-$16.75 An Assistant Teacher is responsible for supporting an Amazing Explorers Academy Lead Teacher with every aspect of managing and supervising a class of children. This includes creating an environment of learning that promotes the social, physical and intellectual growth of children, regardless of their age, background, or abilities. Participate in member retention, special events and fundraising. Complete all paperwork clearly and concisely. Remain up to date on emergency procedures and family center policies. Requirements Minimum age 16 years or older. 1 year of childcare experience preferred CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire date. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
