JOB TITLE: Lead Teacher REPORTS TO: CDC Director FLSA TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt JOB PURPOSE: Under the direction of the CDC Director, the Lead Teacher is responsible for meeting the developmental needs of children birth through six years of age in a group setting. Directs classroom teachers, assistant teacher, practicum students, and volunteers to meet program standards as well as Tulsa/County Health Department and the Federal School Lunch licensing regulations. Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or misconduct immediately to the appropriate supervisory staff. Attend mandatory training on abuse prevention, including recognizing signs of abuse, and reporting requirements. Other duties as assigned.
