Position Summary:A center-based teacher implements curriculum, on-going observation, assessment, and child outcomes systems, consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards. They work as a partner with families in the health, attendance, and education of their children. Supervises and provides direction/guidance to Associate Teachers and Classroom Support Staff.

Expected Schedule:Monday- Friday, 8a-4:30p, 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary due to daily schedule.

Education Requirement:Minimum - AA, or BA in Child Development or Early Childhood Education with 1 to 2 years of related experience.Desired - BA degree in Early Childhood Education is required within 6 years of hire. The Tuition Assistance Program may be available upon request.
