The Presidio Trust is seeking an Asset Data Analyst within the Finance Division. Reporting to the Asset Maintenance and Replacement Program Manager, the Asset Data Analyst serves as the lead analytical, technical, and data management specialist supporting implementation of the Presidio Trust s Asset Maintenance and Replacement Program. The Analyst is responsible for administering the Presidio Asset Reporting and Tracking System (PARTS), which utilizes VFA software and related systems, and for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of asset data used in financial, operational and strategic decision-making across the Trust s portfolio of buildings, infrastructure, and parkland assets.
The Analyst leads the collection, analysis, and reporting of asset information to support enterprise-wide decisions on lifecycle planning, capital investment, and maintenance priorities. Acting as a key technical expert and point of contact for agency-wide asset data management, the Analyst develops and maintains data governance standards, reporting tools, and analytical products that promote consistency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
This is a full-time position with benefits that is funded through September 30, 2028. The 2026 starting pay range is $115,606 to $131,792 for roles based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with the starting base salary determined on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary support analyst for the Asset Management and Replacement Program, performing analytical, technical and data management functions to ensure asset data accuracy, completeness and reliability in support of financial, operational and strategic planning.
Maintain the Presidio Asset Reporting and Tracking System (PARTS) and associated VFA database. Serve as the system lead for configuration, data integrity and reporting functionality, and liaise with staff managing related asset tracking systems.
Lead and support efforts to collect, verify, and update asset information by coordinating with divisions, departments, and project teams, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Perform desktop data quality (QA/QC) checks to identify and correct data inconsistencies or gaps in asset records. Develop and implement data management procedures to improve data integrity, standardization, and usability across the organization.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and funding requirements, supporting long-term asset management and capital investment decisions.
Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc asset reports, dashboards, and analyses to inform asset replacement prioritization, budgeting, and capital planning for both division and agency-wide deferred maintenance decision-making.
Translate analytical findings into clear, concise summaries and visualizations for managers and decision-makers.
Collaborate with project managers and maintenance teams to ensure that asset records accurately reflect field conditions, project completions, and replacement plans.
Lead the development and maintenance of standardized data management procedures, methodologies, tools, and documentation to ensure consistent asset data collection, storage, and reporting.
Provide technical oversight and coordination of contractors or consultants engaged in asset inventory, data collection, or system enhancements, ensuring deliverables meet established data quality and reporting standards.
Review and validate data submissions from other analysts and contributors for completeness, accuracy and compliance with agency standards.
Lead the process improvement initiatives to strengthen asset data governance, streamlining workflows, and enhancing integration with related systems in VFA.
Provide training and technical support to staff on asset data standards, analytical tools, and reporting methodologies.
Exercise independent judgement and initiative to identify needs, propose solutions and implement improvements with minimal supervision.
Coordinate closely with Planning and Compliance, and Project Management Office, and Finance groups to ensure analytical outputs support reporting, compliance, and strategic planning requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in business, information systems, engineering, facilities management, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the required work.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in an analyst or data management role.
Proven experience providing analytical, technical and data management support for asset and facilities databases (e.g. VFA, CMMS or similar systems).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements, and macros.
Demonstrated ability to perform data QA/QC, trend analysis and performance reporting on large datasets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with VFA, asset management software, CMMS (Yardi), Geographic Information system (GIS) software, and capital planning tools.

The Branch develops park-focused books, maps, interpretive, and branded merchandise for both our Interpretive Centers and for the Parks Conservancy's wholesale and online sales programs. In addition, the Branch manages warehouses, distributes merchandise, and operates the Fee Collection program at Muir Woods. Interpretive Centers include the Alcatraz Park Stores, Muir Woods Visitor Center, Lands End Lookout, Warming Hut, Fort Point Park Store, Presidio Visitor Center, and Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center.
