The Machine Learning Engineer II will be a member of the Learning and Active Perception (LEAP) group in AV's MacCready Works division and support the development of a variety of innovative computer vision capabilities (object detection, classification, localization, and tracking) and other image/video analytics for defense and commercial applications. These development efforts require a range of skills and tools across traditional engineering, computer science, and mathematical disciplines including but not limited to data management, computer vision, machine learning, optimization, and deep convolutional neural networks. This position will span multiple stages of the development process including requirements gathering, algorithm design, prototyping, test and evaluation, and validation and verification testing. This specific role also involves on-site support for experimentation and fielded systems requiring a significant amount of extended travel, both domestic and international. Duties • Support development of computer vision and machine learning (ML) algorithms capable of object detection, classifying, localizing, and tracking objects of interest from a variety of stationary and mobile sensor platforms with the primary purpose of real-time automated target recognition (ATR) • Perform visual imagery data science to inform data collection, data labeling, and data selection for training deep computer vision ML algorithms, train the algorithms using the data, and validate data selection and algorithm design through a series of purpose-designed experiments. This includes: o Analyze ML algorithms to solve a given problem and rank them by their success probability on new data o Set objectives and develop models that help achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress o Select appropriate datasets and data representations o Analyze errors of the data, model, and design strategies to overcome them • Write and test software to support the integration of machine learning algorithms into aircraft (such as autopilots, payloads, or other functional components) or other systems • Other duties as assigned Experience • 2 - 5 years of relevant computer vision experience • Familiarity with Python and C/C++ required • Proficiency with a deep learning framework, preferably PyTorch • Proficiency with basic libraries for machine learning such as, Open-CV, scikit-learn, and pandas • Familiarity with Linux • Familiarity with Nvidia Tools (CUDA, JetPack, TensorRT) and deployment process to Nvidia GPUs • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems and perform algorithmic optimization • Ability to perform exploratory data analysis, including visualizing and manipulating large datasets Education BS in any of the following fields: Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related Science or Engineering discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience in machine learning and/or computer vision. Operates presses to produce a wide variety of multicolor items. Performs routine press maintenance. Establishes and maintains solid working relationships with customer service, prepress, and order entry to ensure maximum plant productivity and quality control according to established standards. Typically produces work that is more quality-intensive than that on conventional presses. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensures that all materials and supplies are available for efficient operation by coordinating with the shift supervisor and/or purchasing. Sets up and operates presses to produce a wide variety of multicolor items, which may require screening and use of halftone plates to obtain precise impressions. Changes plates for size and type of stock required for each job. As part of Make Ready, cleans and lubricates press, mixes ink, and loads press with specified type, size, and color of paper stock. Checks registration under a magnifier. Makes appropriate adjustments to ensure the output of a quality product. Investigates production problems and/or errors to identify possible changes in procedures to prevent re-occurrence. Ensures equipment maintenance is performed and reports any downtime that may affect production schedules and delivery commitments. Adheres to company safety policies, practices, and procedures.

PACKER - INSPECTOR Experience not necessary; training provided! Location: Sterling, MA In a Nutshell: Laddawn has manufacturing facilities located from coast to coast, which allows us to rapidly ship to our customers no matter where they are located. You'll help us inspect and package finished product that wows our customers. What you'll be doing: · Packaging bags\/rolls into boxes, weighing the boxes, and keeping accurate counts in the computer system. · Performing quality control checks on product and ensuring that all products are properly labeled with a Q.C. sticker before stacking finished product. · Keeping the work area clean and clutter free: picking up scrap materials around the production lines and cutting scrap off cores. · Alerting Setup Technicians or Changeover Technicians using the light system to keep them informed of production status. We seek a detail-oriented and technically skilled Pressman to join our print and mailing company team. The Digital Press Operator will be responsible for manual and machine operator tasks in the set-up, maintenance, and operation of our HP Indigo 7800/7900, HP Indigo 12000, HP Indigo 7250, Ricoh, and IX Canon digital presses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of print production processes, as well as excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with the print industry is required. Duties and Responsibilities: Must have working knowledge and experience to set-up, calibrate, adjust inks, read job jackets, and operate to production standards. Reads instructions from job tickets and sets up or directs set-up of press based on instructions. As required, sets feeder, side guide, pressures; registers job; maintains ink/water balance; preps stock. Keeps track of job tickets assigned and their contents until job is completed. Fills out clearly & completely all daily paperwork assigned and turns it into the assigned place. Makes job ready by running samples to adjust print quality and color proof or PMS color. During and after completion of job, checks off and signs all relevant Quality Control forms and places in ticket with all other related materials. Makes final pre-run inspection of job and approves or confers with prepress manager/ supervisor for approval. Responsible for quality of printed work. Ensures that company's safety regulations and procedures are followed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
