Qualifications You must possess the following minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Job Description of Small Bindery Operator for our plant in Van Nuys, CA Shift: 2nd Shift - 1:30pm - 10:00pm Pay Range: $18 - $20 Please note: Compensation decisions are made in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and education Duties and Responsibilities Access the IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day. Determine what size hole the job will require according to the gang sheet. Set up the small bindery equipment which can include the drill hole machine, corner round machine, wire-o binding machine, shrink wrap machine, and padding press. and observe while running. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure a smooth and accurate process. Inspect the hole drilled on the job to ensure accuracy and quality before packing in the designated box. Record production and operational data using the IMS system, such as entering completed jobs. Report any workplace hazards to management immediately. Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards. Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs. Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Good problem-solving skills and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Good communication skills At least 1 year of experience using continuous and pile fed machines and packing experience. Ability to communicate effectively with management and team members. Ability to safely use hand/power tools. Ability to multitask with changing priorities. Job Description Summary- Sets up and operates hydraulic bellows machinery to form bellows from tubing. Trains on the bellows sheet metal machines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: Sets up and operates hydraulic bellows forming machinery. Responsible for the clean up of the machine/ area upon completion of job. Identifies parts after bellows are formed. Performs minor assembly of parts. Train on bellows sheet metal machines. Performs rework/ repair and other associated operations relating to the work described above. Assists higher classified Bellows Machine Operators as required. Assemble and size tubes. Clean and Oven Dry parts. Trim, vent hole and set live length. Follow all Senior policies and procedure. Other duties as assigned. In addition to the above, Bellows Mach. Oversee team of operators, ensuring the efficient and safe operations Responsible for training, scheduling, and providing technical guidance to the team. Maintain equipment and ensuring adherence to production standards and safety regulations Machines manufacture seamless carbon steel pipes parts that the operator needs to measure for quality and tolerance. Operate Molding Machine safely, efficiently, and to company specification. Ability to work in a production/process-driven environment. Training will be provided, but some knowledge is a great help.
