We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator who will work closely with support staff and the Production lead to form materials to customer standards, as well as complete tasks in the metal fab shop. They will assist in welding and laser cutting operators as well as operate a variety of hand tools and saws. Learn basic operations and operate metal forming, bending, and cutting equipment. The typical production schedule of a Press Brake Operator is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm. Extended hours and Saturdays may be required during our busiest times. Flexbility to work on swing shift 3:30pm-11pm is preferred.
Requirements:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Use machinery to bend, form, and cut metal parts.
Operate hand tools.
Read and interpret shop drawings (details) and be proficient at understanding key dimensions, angles, tolerances, and finish requirements.
Work closely with the Supervisor and Production Lead to achieve production goals.
Perform work safely without accident or injury while maintaining a safe work area clear of hazards.
Performs other related duties or special projects as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and other Abilities:
Added consideration for experience with Amada Press Brake and related software.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, and follow directions, understand and interpret drawings, details, and written instructions.

SHIFT TIMES:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Directly work with the Production Lead/Supervisor to ensure that the bar and/or granola lines are running properly
Operate production line equipment including, but not limited to, industrial mixers, scales, printer labelers, ovens, cooling tunnels, high-speed packaging machinery and various other equipment related to food production
Accurately measure and prepare food ingredients by following written recipes
Ensure packaging materials are set up according to customer specifications
Perform sanitation of production equipment, parts, and the surrounding environment
Accurately record documentation to verify compliance with all required quality specifications and procedure checks for the assigned area
Report all safety concerns immediately to direct supervisor(s) upon discovery
Troubleshoot machinery as needed
Work collaboratively with peers and leadership

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be detailed oriented
The ability to work independently by utilizing all trained processes and procedures with minimal supervision
