**Your role at Clorox:**
The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a machine operator position to operate, maintain and troubleshoot our production line equipment at our Atlanta-West facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring lines are operating efficiently- minimizing downtime and adhering to safe practices. **In this role, you will:**
+ Operate machine production equipment/lines efficiently, ensuring set up, running times and maintained accurately.
+ Perform changeovers on all equipment, able to follow established procedures and protocols.
+ Troubleshoot, fix and repair any equipment malfunctions or failures, using your mechanical knowledge and skills.
+ Identify and accurate quality problems, working with teams as needed to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards.

Use Tantalus to search and report on meters.
Operate the City water system utilizing SCADA to monitor and control wells, high lift pumps, and valves to properly maintain system pressure and tank levels. Assist water plant operations by conducting EPA mandated chlorine and fluoride testing at 4-hour intervals to ensure they are within operational limits.
Take gas trouble calls, walking customers through determining the problem and recommending safety protocols. Create reports for gas department for all customer and internal calls. Gas monitoring will require operators to be subject to random DOT mandated drug testing.
Use Cityworks to search work history and create service requests in response to customer issues both external and internal.
Use Cogsdale for customer account and equipment inquiries, creating service orders, customer notes, and as a tool for taking after-hour delinquent payments
Take customer payments after hours and on weekends. This includes taking cash payments, credit card payments using Invoice Cloud, and handling sensitive customer information.
Monitor facility cameras throughout city facilities using Luxriot.
Will be expected to fill vacant shifts beyond regular scheduled hours when required.
Must be able to work under stressful situations that may occur during large outages, periods of high call volume, and when working with difficult customer situations.

Measure part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, or other types of measurement.
Maintain tools and equipment in good, clean working order to maximize tool life
Perform safety checks on every machine, keeping work area clean and orderly.
Other duties and projects as assigned by the Production Manager, or Plant Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
Ability to learn and understand basic machine operation.
Ability to focus and pay close attention to detail while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Ability to use or learn to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Ability to learn process for determining and regulating speed and feed rates of machines.
Ability to work and communicate within a team setting.
Ability to recognize defects, out-of-tolerance measurements and escalating those matters to management.
Ability to document measurements and other criteria legibly when required.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
One to three years' work experience.
Experience working in a production environment using heavy industrial equipment and/or machinery.

Operate powered industrial equipment (Cherry Picker, Sit-down/Stand-up forklift, Reach Truck, Turret - training provided)
Perform pre-operation inspections of equipment
Receive and follow pick tickets to locate and retrieve products
Pack and weigh orders accurately
Place incoming items into inventory (Put-away)
Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts
Transport completed orders to designated shipping areas
Organize items on pallets and maintain a clean work area
Learn product lines, SKUs, and proper warehouse locations
Work with experienced operators to understand aisle flow, staging, and crate placement
Drive P.I.E. at reduced speed to ensure safe handling
Pay and Shift:
2nd Shift: 3 PM to 12 AM
$17.50 an hour
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to read, write, and speak basic English
Experience of operating powered industrial equipment preferred
