Job Description of Press Operator for our plant in Van Nuys, CA Shift: 9:30 pm - 6:00 am Sunday to Thursday Pay Rate: $28 - $35 Please note: Compensation decisions are made in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and education. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare the plates by punching holes in front and placing them inside the designated color. Read job orders from IMS system to determine job priorities, specifications, and to plan out workload for the day. Clean and set up the press machine according to the designated print job. Create a ready batch for each run processed on the press machine. Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary. Maintain records such as daily production records using specified forms and entering the finished process to show in IMS software time and date of completion.
