Machine Operation

This involves loading raw materials, selecting appropriate tools, and monitoring machine performance to ensure accurate and quality production.

2. Safety Compliance
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Adhere to safety protocols, such as wearing protective equipment, operating machines within safe parameters, and identifying potential hazards or malfunctions.
3. Machine Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on manual machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components to ensure optimal functionality.
Detect and report any machine malfunctions or abnormalities to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
4. Quality Control:
Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of work produced
Monitor product output to ensure it meets quality standards.
Inspect finished parts for defects, measure dimensions using precision instruments, and make necessary adjustments to maintain desired specifications.
5. Material Handling:
Handle raw materials, such as metal or plastic, safely and efficiently.
Load and unload materials onto machines, position workpieces using clamps, vices, or fixtures, and transport finished products to designated areas.
6. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Complete production reports, work orders, or other required documentation as necessary.
7. Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve common machine issues or production problems.
Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs, such as replacing cutting tools, adjusting machine settings, or clearing machine jams.

Qualifications:
· Previous experience in manufacturing operations or other related fields preferred, but not necessary
· Familiarity with manufacturing tools and equipment but not necessary

· Able to lift to 50 pounds
· Able to stand for long periods (8 - 10 hour shifts)
