Ecolab is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As a Flexographic Press Operator, you'll help deliver products that support clean water, safe food, and healthy environments around the world. How You'll Make an Impact:
Review job orders to determine job specifications such as quantities to be printed, production times, colors, and color sequences.
Load, position, and adjust paper rolls on equipment.
Select and install printing plates, dies, and cylinders in press machines to specifications.
Monitor the printing process to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions.
Adjust printing plates and pressure rolls to improve print quality.
Maintain consistent quality checks during the production run to ensure finished product adheres to customer specifications.
Remove printed materials from presses and place in designated areas.
Perform preventative maintenance of press machines and report all safety concerns or issues to supervisor.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and complete daily housekeeping assignments.
Maintain inventory accuracy.
Complete all job-related paperwork accurately.
Work with other press operators and supervisors to ensure a smooth shift changeover.
Ensures the work conducted withing the production area is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
All other duties as assigned.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

Key Responsibilities:
Ability to run a fully functional number control press brake set up sheet for assigned machine. Amada Press brake experience a plus.
Perform difficult bends and angles while understanding the working mechanics of standards (radius, angle, vee) tooling.
Mathematically figure bend deductions, convert decimal/metric/fractions and figure flat pattern of parts containing 90 degree bends.
Ability to understand print notes, apply notes and dimensions to the forming of a part.
Follow instructions concerning installing and removing tooling, bending direction, taper and dimensional corrections and angular adjustments.
Following instructions for scanning jobs in and out correctly, logging and identifying parts prior to leaving the Press Brake area and accurately repeat bending sequence.
Effectively read a square and dial calipers on OD/ID dimensions and measure specified dimensions from print.
Responsible for checking the end product to ensure it meets customer specifications and SPM quality standards.
Ensure to follow all SPM safety procedures associated with operating machinery, plant requirements and other safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively read a square, protractor and dial calipers
Minimum of 1 year of Press Brake experience
Ability to read blueprints
Demonstrated competency in basic math, including fraction to decimal conversion
Ability to understand flat pattern layout
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift, carry, and/or push up to 50lbs
