Perform minor set ups and troubleshoot equipment issues. This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is supported by the department's Team Lead(s). This position works Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am with overtime as needed. This shift is eligible for a $1.00 shift differential. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Using blueprints to do visual product inspections to verify conformance to print specifications and tracking conformance using the Screw MFG Inspection sheet and SPC program. (40%) Changing tools and adjusting machine back to proper specification. (30%) Performing housekeeping/daily machine maintenance and troubleshooting manufacturing issues. (20%) Driving a forklift to retrieve raw material or deliver finished products to outbound staging area. Summary: Machine Operator is responsible for performing tasks involved in the fabrication of copper tubing components according to router or work instructions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
