Job Description American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) provides technical development and commercialization of domestic, sustainable sourcing of critical battery materials through lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies for use in batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics and tools. Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain. The Machine Operator at ABTC will collaborate across various departments, including engineering, EHS, Operations, Production, and R&D, to efficiently scale production at our Pilot Plant. The ideal candidate will possess experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and have substantial hands-on manufacturing skills. This role involves monitoring and maintaining process equipment to facilitate production. Requirements Monitor and operate a variety of machines throughout the shift. Assist with the movement of raw, WIP, and finished materials. Use the ERP system to execute assigned jobs and record/report production data and outcomes. Monitor product quality and ensure activities are performed to quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and work Instructions. Accurately report daily machine production. Read and interpret manufacturing orders to ensure the finished products meet specifications. Perform changeovers with Maintenance and Engineering teams. Work overtime as necessary to cover other shift operators and meet overall production demands. Physical Demands Ability to stand for prolonged periods of up to 6 hours a day.
