Essential Functions: Accountable for production with machine operation and programming, to include injection moulding, laser, and component stamping press. Tasks: Able to set up and program injection molding machines. This includes insertion of molds and programming in all run criteria and adjusting as needed. Accountable for running daily production and performing hourly quality checks to ensure compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. Capable of using basic measuring equipment such as calipers, Ensure compliance. Observe all safety requirements. Creating nonconforming reports for out of specification product. Posting production orders in SAP. Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments. Able to maintain required efficiency rates. Conduct preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, dryers, and chillers. Able to train Machine Operator II employees on running equipment. Able to drive a forklift. Excellent organizational skills. General housekeeping of work area. Able to set up component stamping/laser/injection moulding machines. Employee must show up to work on time and be able to work overtime as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
