The Production Operator focuses on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including: Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards •Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods •Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products •Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis and examines production materials for processing. Operates all equipment and processes. Monitors machine parameters and troubleshoots processing problems.

As a Machine Operator at our Red Oak PowerFrame facility, you will operate and maintain precision manufacturing equipment used in grid production.
Key responsibilities include:
Operate casting, rolling mill, press, and lead pot equipment to produce PowerFrame grids

Job Duties:
Obtain all required paperwork for shift
Check compactors for anything out of the ordinary
Dumping & compacting trash into the trash compactors
Adding cardboard into the cardboard baler and bale the cardboard for recycling
Adding plastic &/or bucket into the vertical baler and bale the plastic &/or bucket for recycling
Pumping liquids (fats, oils & grease) into the designated tank
Monitoring the compacting process
Loading the cardboard, barrels, pallets, plastic &/or bucket and etc. onto the designated trailer
Cleaning compactors, totes, work area, etc.
Ensuring good housekeeping (interior and exterior) and 5S standards are met
Complete all required paperwork and document critical data
May perform general labor duties as assigned
May perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of GMP's and food allergens
Ability to be PIT Certified
Ability to be LOTO Certified
Knowledge of the 5S concept
Ability to work with animal and allergen products
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 months production or related experience preferred.

**Job Responsibilities**
As a Machine Operator at our Red Oak PowerFrame facility, you will operate and maintain precision manufacturing equipment used in grid production.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Operate casting, rolling mill, press, and lead pot equipment to produce PowerFrame grids
+ Monitor key parameters such as temperature, flow, speed, and product dimensions
+ Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and product changeovers
+ Inspect equipment and parts for quality, ensuring conformance to specifications
+ Assist maintenance with equipment PMs, repairs, and troubleshooting
+ Handle lead safely, following all environmental and safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, hazardous materials handling)
+ Train and support new operators to ensure safe, efficient performance
+ Document production data and quality checks accurately
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
+ Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs.
+ Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
+ Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirator when applicable
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Opened in 2003, the plant employs more than 80 people and operates six days per week.
