We are seeking a bright, capable digital print operator to add to our wall-covering production team. This person's primary focus will be to oversee the color and quality of print jobs on Large Format HP Latex printers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has an upbeat attitude toward problem solving, and is motivated to improve production processes. Hourly Pay Rate: $20 to $22 Hour YOU WILL: • Precisely match production print jobs to company control samples using color matching software • Set up files for production runs using company RIP software • Maximize machine efficiency and minimize waste through efficient use of substrates • Regularly perform preventative maintenance on all machinery • Inspect all print jobs to ensure highest quality standards are met • Troubleshoot problems that occur during job submission or the printing process • Monitor color consistency during and at end of print run, making adjustments when necessary • Catch errors at the earliest possible stage • Update job status and location in production software, and report any delays to management • Maintain current and complete knowledge of all equipment and software • Calibrate all color devices as required to maintain color consistency • Load/unload printers for production runs YOU HAVE/ARE: • A strong understanding of color theory and experience in color management • Ability to match color by eye as well as through digital software • Entrepreneurial spirit: must be willing to own process and contribute ideas • Detail oriented, organized and thorough, in all aspects of process and communication • Understand digital files • Understanding of textile and wallcovering repeats and industry standards • A flexible work style and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure while staying organized • Collaborative, with the ability to work across multiple creative and functional departments • Ability to work within a team and open to learning from others • Dependable, timely, and trusted to use printing materials and equipment Required Skills: • Wide format digital print experience, latex experience a plus • Experience working with digital files and RIP software • Caldera, AVA, Photoshop, Illustrator, Onyx and color calibrating software a plus ABOUT FSCO: Our talented team is innovative and dynamic, and our culture is progressive and fun. Purpose Statement Production Operator associates responsible for packaging raw bulk product into smaller packages in a safe, sanitary, cost-effective, and efficient manner. Protects the safety, hygiene and quality of the food, while meeting company quality standards. This is a first shift role, M-Th between 7a-530p EST Key Accountabilities and Outcomes * Housekeeping of machine area. * Verify bulk quantity and accuracy prior to start. * Make bags in accordance with customer requirements at fastest speed and best quality. * Bag label/Case label QC . * Daily feedback to Production Supervisor on Packers and any other issues. * Operators responsible for upkeep and maintenance of their own machines. MACHINES TURNED OFF WHEN NOT IN USE. * Bulk pallets are moved behind the production line back to inventory once complete. * Ensure only current production run's case labels are present. All other labels are removed from the area. ACTIVITES: Adhere to your assigned production line to avoid cross contamination of product. Completes logs Run Start Log and Machine Pre-op Checklist daily. Use OS to know the day's plan. Verify bulk product staged is enough before starting the machine. Make sure the machine area is clean all the time and tools are stored properly. Make sure bag labels are corrected and straight. Send picture of bag label to "Model Bag" text group. Make sure case labels are applies immediately and have correct information. Before end of shift make all cases are sealed and labeled. Make sure the machine and area is clean at the end of shift. If run is complete place white cone on bulk pallet so inventory associate can return to inventory. If run is not complete leave bulk pallet in place. Submit completed Run Start Log and Machine Pre-Op checklist to the QA Supervisor. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Will be required to perform tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds, walking, standing, climbing, reaching, stooping, pulling, pushing, grasping, and balancing as part of production activities out on the floor. Will be required to see and hear well enough to understand Associates questions and respond to their concerns. Will be required to work in freezers, near noisy machinery, near confined spaces as part of daily production activities. Food Safety Responsibilities: Follow all GMP's, food safety, and quality policies. Report all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen, or magnet deficiencies, glass breakage, and pest harborage. Monitor product quality and food safety throughout all stages of production, recording such results as required, and reporting deficiencies to Supervision.
