Perform quality checks, maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure quality products are manufactured to meet customer demand. Operates element rolling table to assemble components into a spiral configuration, changing membrane leaf adhesive drums as required. 2. Ensures all glue lines, side and end seals are applied during manufacturing process. 3. Some positions may verify glue ratio, including proper placing, accuracy, consistency and diameter of glue lines in accordance to Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures. Trim Operator: 1. Verifies gauges have current calibrated sticker prior to using hand tool to prevent damage to product. 2. Confirms trim measurement using calibrated hand tools such as ring gauges, trim gauges, etc. 3 Operates standard product trimming machine, including cleaning blade before using it. Caging Operator: 1. Operates machine to seal the cage outerwrap to process separation products, conducting a visual inspection of elements for damage. 2. Seals cage outerwrap to feed spacer on the end seal glue lines. 3. Trims leaves manually using scissors eliminating flaps and exposing proper placement of serial number. APPLIES TO ALL: 1. Loads/unloads product from manufacturing transport equipment on to appropriate machine or production equipment for tasks. 2. Maintains daily, weekly and monthly productivity goals set by production management, including clean-up, rework, core tube preparation or other production activities. 3. Job Duties • A machine operator follows food safety guidelines while using appropriate PPE for each duty as required. • Operates all production equipment proficiently - Performs all aspects of each operator's position to include machine functions, necessary records and paperwork, and all required testing. • Replenish and refill packaging such as cartons, jugs, caps, or bags. • Follows specific protocols required for cleaning fluid processing equipment and follow proper SSOP standards when cleaning/sanitizing the work area (floors, carts, utensils, and equipment, etc.) • Inspects milk cases/packaging for damage or excessive foreign substances. • Use a hand operated non-electric pallet jack, transports stacks of cleaned empty milk dispensers to the filler machine station for reuse. Reports to supervisor any malfunction of the pallet jack. • Follows quality inspection standards and removing products not meeting quality standards. • Operates production equipment ensuring safety, quality and accuracy from beginning to end. • Performs housekeeping at workstation and basic machine cleaning after product runs. • Performs machine troubleshooting and resolves basic issues. • Collects required samples needed for quality assurance testing. • Ensures all paperwork is filled out in a clear legible and accurate format, ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's. • Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area. • Reports on food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately. • Works as a team; trains or helps others as needed and where needed as directed. • Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times. Cleans ingredient warehouses, dock areas, hallways, chemical areas, forklifts, and other areas according to the Master Sanitations list. • Communicates effectively and efficiently with supervision regarding production issues. • Prompt and regular attendance. • Other duties as assigned. Fabrication of the assemblies will include the use saws and other specialty equipment to trim and square tubing as well as Buffers and pneumatic tools for the pre-Weld prep. What will my responsibilities include? Fabrication of tube assemblies using saws, End finishers and hand tools. Using Calibrated measuring equipment such as dial calipers and laser vision to check that parts meet the blueprint/customer requirements. Pre-Weld Cleaning/prepping of tubes and fittings using Buffers, cordless drills and other hand tools. Reading/Understanding blueprints and customer data. Manually Tack welding fittings using Tig welder and fixtures for proper rotations. Setting up orbital weld machine with the tooling and qualified schedule for part configuration. Orbital welding fitting to tubes using automatic Orbital Weld equipment. Visually Inspect weld inside diameter and outside diameter to customer requirements using optic equipment such as loupes and borescopes. Maintaining 5's and safety requirements for the area. Performing preventative maintenance on equipment in the department. Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate. Using required PPE required for the department.
