Full-time Description Supports the Press Systems area by applying advanced knowledge of the press functions, coaching and training the cell/team to operate equipment effectively with minimal downtime and optimal quality. Press System functions include platemaking, main press, signature creation and delivery to buffer. Provides manufacturing floor direction for a cell (team), and is accountable for job skills training for the cell. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Accountable for operation of a press cell/team that produces signatures from plate making through signature delivery to the print roll buffer. 2. Sets high standards for the cell/team with regard to cycle time, quality, continuous process improvement (CPI), work ethic, safety and housekeeping, cross training and teamwork in the daily operation of the cell. 3.
