The Operator 3, Relief is responsible for ensuring line 7 positions (Mixer, Sheeter, Oven, Packing and others) are properly covered throughout the scheduled breaks during the daily production run and filling in full time on days that require it.

Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing improvement ideas with management and actively engaging in AOE pillar activities.
Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules outlined in the employee handbook

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required
At least 6 months as an Ingredient operator or related experience
Prior experience in a fast-paced production or packing environment is preferred.
Ability to understand and operate mixing process controls and makes adjustments when necessary.
Basic knowledge of dough mixing and operating mixing equipment
Ability to write clearly and legibly and possess basic effective verbal and written skills in English.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to work with computers and operating screens.

We are currently seeking production and machine operators for our manufacturing facility located in Northeast Philadelphia.
General qualifications include but are not limited to:
-Capable of using measuring equipment such as tape measures, scales, calipers, etc.. to mix, setup molds, mold product, form finished product and inspect product and inspect product.
-Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and handle heavy molds and product.
-Skill with common hand tools.
-Ability to perform sequential hand operations or machine operations.
-Fork truck use and operation.
-Attention to detail and the ability to follow standard written procedures and work orders.

-Some computer data entry may be required.

Ability to prepare and run complex setups and forming operations. This includes custom punch modification used in combination with other tooling.
Perform “1st piece” inspections, clearly & accurately documenting complete dimensional results
Support 5S & lean manufacturing concepts, always maintaining a clean work environment
Establish and operate sheet metal equipment under minimal supervision to fabricate as well as form products as per engineering drawings and parameters.
Perform loading and unloading of material by changing tools and select required machine programs.
Inspect and maintain press braking operative equipment's for conformance with safety requirements
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations

Minimum 10 years of proven press brake experience including setup and operation

Familiarity with CNC machinery and modern fabrication technologies

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* High School diploma, GED or equivalent
* 3-5 years of proven Machine Operator experience
* MS Office Suite, SAP a plus
* Understands the basic concepts of manufacturing
* Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substitute at management discretion.

As a Machine Operator, you will be assigned to work on lines and may work in one or more workstations. You will be required to be proficient in multiple assets in a given location. You will be responsible for machine setups and changeovers, problem-solving, performing PMs, and making decisions on machine adjustments.
Responsibilities
Load raw material into machine and unload finished product
Determine and control the machine cycle varying and modifying it as necessary
Perform tests and check products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices and making some judgments against not readily measurable standards
Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity
Follow standard operating procedures and specifications or instructions of higher-level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications
Operating a Forklift and machinery throughout the shift
Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance
Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies, and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems
Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals
Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility
Demonstrate respect for the Company's values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, trade school, or combination of training and experience
3+ years of relevant manufacturing machine operator experience
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Able to work overtime, including short-notice requests
Motivated, takes initiative, and possesses a strong work ethic
Ability to multitask within a structured environment
Extraordinary organization skills, strong time management skills, and exceptional communication skills
Ability to follow electrical schematics and drawings
Possess the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment
Capacity to work with limited supervision, independently, and as a team member
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
