    INTERNAL ONLY Printing Press Operator II Work Schedule: Rotating shifts; 7am - 3pm; 3pm - 11pm; 11pm - 7am; rotate every four weeks. Essential Functions Perform operations required to set up printing press to produce a variety of items. Follow company printing procedures and guidelines. Assist in setting-up jobs in the press and monitoring the quality of the print as the press is running. Communicate pertinent matters of the job with press operator III or IV on shift. Maintain cleanliness of machines/equipment and adjacent work area. Continuously examine products for visual defects and apply correcting solutions to defects. Refer difficulties to Printing Operator II or III for analysis and/or remedy. Regular, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to the job. Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures, to complete Sanitation Checklist Follow GMP's and PRP's and Production SOP's Follow all safety rules. Collaborate closely with other departments and teams. Qualifications Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, often carrying up to 30 pounds. The position requires repetitive finger, hand, and wrist movement as well as bending, twisting, and reaching. Can stand for 8-12hrs per shift. Critical thinking skills to set up new jobs and operate various presses. Safety operation of machine. Can continuously move in a demanding environment. Achieve high quality standards. Can read and understand manufacturing instructions. Attention to details, initiative-taking, and strong organization skills.
