Job Description Day shift 8 hours, full time position Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation Recycle old/discarded plates Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates Qualifications Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. Supports the operator with set-up and tear-down. Operates the presses through lunch and break periods when necessary. Monitors the ink levels, paper levels, and fount solution. Fills ink and dampening solution fountains and adjusts controls to regulate flow of ink and dampening solution to plate cylinder. At shift change, check and refill as needed the fount solution, paper, plates, and inks. Make certain that area is clean, empty trash, and empty trace. Must work well with others in a team environment. Recording of time and production for job costing. Ability to meet daily production standards. Performs all required preventative maintenance in accordance to production schedule. Maintains a clean and organized work area and press. Observe company work rules and safety regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
