Size and install new electrical equipment services.
Work with 480/277 and 208/120 VAC, three-phase power, and equipment.

Troubleshoot and diagnose medium pressure steam boiler or system problems.
Use various fittings and methods to fit and support black iron, copper, stainless steel, or other types of pipe and tubing.
Using various electrical test instruments, troubleshoot and accurately diagnose electrical problems.
Keep work areas, mechanical and electrical rooms in safe, organized condition at all times.

• Participate with others in the testing and evaluation of raw materials and equipment.
• Assist in the training and instruction of Production and Maintenance personnel on modifications or installation of equipment and make recommendations for improvement to product techniques.
• Research manuals and drawings for procurement of replacement parts and supplies.
• Provide feedback to the Maintenance Mechanic Leader and the Maintenance Supervisor regarding equipment condition.
• Maintain machines to ensure that quality packages are provided at the speeds designated, and maintain work area in a safe, clean and orderly condition according to GMPs.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge and experience in electrical or willing to take electrical classes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Substantial amount of walking and occasional use of ladders required.
• Must be able to lift quantities up to 75 pounds and handle/position quantities over 75 pounds.
• Work is often in confined areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires the knowledge gained through a high school degree or the equivalent, and completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or equal training.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.

Fleet Laboratories is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Leader on 3rd Shift.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Electrical experience is required for this position. Apply technical skills and judgment to assigned tasks in order to maintain and improve upon operational equipment and physical facility in a safe and quality conscious manner. Variety of troubleshooting skills required. Substitute for the Maintenance Supervisor including but not limited to: Attending the Shift Transition Meeting, Leading the Maintenance Huddle Meeting, and assignment of maintenance tasks. Check and follow up on assigned tasks for accurate completion. Communicate with all line leaders to ensure adequate support.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Perform duties involving a wide range of preventative maintenance and repair work to a variety of electromechanical devices, machinery, PLCs, instrumentation, HVAC, fixtures, and furnishings throughout the facility.
• No budgetary responsibility. Impacts profitability by directly effecting production capabilities and potential, minimizing downtime and developing new equipment and improvements to existing equipment, minimizing the need for capital expenditures.
• Participate with others in the testing and evaluation of raw materials and equipment. Provide feedback pertaining to the compatibility and functionality in conjunction with the maintenance supervisor.
• Maintain machines to ensure that quality packages are provided at the speeds designated, and maintain work area in a safe, clean and orderly condition according to GMPs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Issue maintenance work orders for all tasks identified during shift.
• Point of contact for all maintenance calls.
• Dispatch all of the maintenance calls.
• Perform maintenance call during maintenance mechanic unavailability.
• Provide support to the maintenance mechanic if the trouble call is longer than 15 minutes or if needed.
• Make decision for problem resolution and request assistance, if necessary.
• Check and follow-up on assigned tasks for accurate completion.
• Familiarize with the shift OEE performance and report critical issues to the shift supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as required
