Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) in a long-term care (LTC) facility provides skilled nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. RNs oversee patient care plans, administer treatments, monitor for changes in condition, and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality, resident-centered care. They also play a key role in supervising nursing staff, educating residents and families, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Essential Work Functions:
Assess patient or resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure their well-being
Develop, update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the patient care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Observe residents for any medication reactions or changes in condition and report concerns to the healthcare provider
Provide treatments including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of practice
Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately and ensuring residents receive quality care
Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and managing chronic conditions
Document care provided, resident progress, and any health changes in a timely manner
Respond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams when needed
Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Adhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy
Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs
Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers
Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer's vehicle in running condition; properly documents all recommendations in customer file
Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to direct supervisor
Ability to work flexible schedules, including Saturdays. Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Qualifications:
Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

Responsibilities Service Tech:
Perform work as outlined on repair order with safety, efficiency, and accuracy
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair when authorized
Communicate with the advisor and/or parts department to obtain needed parts
Save and tag removed parts as required or requested by the insurance company, customer, or Parts Dept.
Examine vehicle and notify the manager and/or advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
Road-test vehicles when required
Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
Ensure that customers cars are kept clean
Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
Qualifications/Requirements Service Tech:
General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
General mechanical skills
Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
Ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle
Ability to use a computer and 10 key calculator
Frequent verbal communication
Personal Initiative is important
High school diploma or the equivalent
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 75 lbs.

* Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam
* Gain substantial knowledge in how to appropriately document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, medical procedures, treatment plans, medical opinions of consultants, diagnoses, medication/prescription information, and follow-up instructions
* Navigate the facility computer system and electronic medical record
* Monitor pending labs and radiology orders for results to help guide patient care
