The site lead for the program reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for providing operational and program support. This position will be the lead personnel for their specific location and responsible for successful completion of all tasks as designated by the Program Manager. This position will be a surge asset designed to supplement Federal and State partners' and first responders' existing CBRN detection and reporting capabilities in support of national and other special security events. Responsibilities: Responsibilities of this position will include the following Lead technical aspects of Anchor QEA's CCR team and integrate supporting services such as our Environmental Geochemistry and Treatability Studies Laboratory and Field Services personnel Provide technical strategic vision for our CCR-focused scientists and engineers Support business development by being seen, both inside and outside of Anchor QEA, as a technical subject matter expert by presenting at conferences, publishing articles in the peer-reviewed literature, and creating innovative approaches to managing CCR sites. Collaborate with clients and industry leaders through participating in conferences and speaking engagements Actively engage with industry groups such as the Utility Solid Waste Activities Group (USWAG), American Coal Ash Association (ACAA), and Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Evaluate current skills and services offered by Anchor QEA and identify gaps in desired skills for growing the CCR practice area. Help identify existing and potential utility clients with areas of potential growth in CCR projects. Collaborate with Anchor QEA's Client Experience team to develop comprehensive marketing materials promoting CCR work both internally and externally. Analyze operations to identify growth or reorganization opportunities within the CCR team. Provide technical guidance and leadership on CCR projects, serving in roles such as project manager, technical lead, senior reviewer, quality assurance/quality control reviewer, or project director. Job Responsibilities * Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly. * Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications. * Weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, plate, pipe and tube or structural shapes, as specified by layout, blueprints, diagram, work order, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment. * Obtain specified electrode and insert electrode into portable holder or thread consumable electrode wire through portable welding gun. * Connect cables and adjust welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, polarity, and pulse, as specified by welding procedure or supervisor. * Start power supply to produce electric current. * Strike (form) arc which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to work piece and join edges of work piece. * Manually guide electrode or gun along weld-line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle. * Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions. * Examine weld for bead size and other specifications. * May manually apply filler rod to supply weld metal. * May clean or degrease weld joint or workplace, using wire brush, portable grinder, or chemical bath. May repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes. * May prepare broken parts for welding by grooving or scarfing surfaces. * May remove excess weld, defective weld material, slag, and spatter, using carbon arc gouge, hand scraper, grinder or power chipper. * May preheat work piece, using hand torch or heating furnace. * May position and clamp work piece together or assemble then in a jig or fixture. * May tack weld assemblies together. * May cut metal plates or structural shapes. * May fit up parts (pipe, tube, structural shapes, or plate) and inspect fit before welding. * May be required to use Gas-Metal Arc, Flux-Cored Arc, Gas-Tungsten Arc, Submerged Arc, or Shielded-Metal Arc welding processes. * Respiratory protection is common and may be required. * Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. * Other duties as assigned. Position Purpose Reporting into the Practice Manager, the Groomer looks after the condition of the patient's coat by providing services to keep the patient clean and well-cared for. Working with a variety of patients (breeds and sizes), the Groomer is responsible for patient bathing, fur and teeth brushing, nail trimming and grinding. The Groomer engages with clients to understand expectations, patient special needs, and desired outcomes. The Groomer is also responsible to ensure grooming rooms or designated space is clean, sanitized, safe, and secure. Essential Responsibilities Admits patients noting the client's specific instructions to ensure a quality outcome including contact information and pick up time. Determines any veterinary services required during the client's visit. In accordance with hospital operating instructions, determines care required in agreement with the individual needs and circumstances of the patients. Observes patient appearance and activity for general physical condition, obvious signs of illness, disease and discontent.
