The **Sr. Pricing Analyst** prepares various types of proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts works on large/complex proposals. One has a strong understanding of estimating & pricing principles and demonstrates application through hands-on experience. This position can be anywhere in the U.S. within a 50 mile radius of an AV office. **Position Responsibilities** + Reviews Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy + Provides regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and presents costs estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies + Prepares and validates cost estimates for sustainment, engineering and manufacturing labor, materials, subcontracts and vendor data, parts & equipment + Identifies cost and price risks and applies to estimates where applicable + Supports DCAA audits and assists with contract negotiations as necessary and liaises between operations and other support organizations for estimating instructions and pricing + Performs analysis of cost estimates identifying inconsistencies and issues. The Junior Target Requirements Analyst will be part of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Threat Systems Engineering Directorate team, managing the Agency's assessment objectives as requirements for MDA flight tests. The candidate will be a member of a team supporting development of parametric target specifications and trajectory, radar cross-section (RCS), and infrared (IR) signatures encompassing intelligence assessments for Missile Defense System design, test, and performance assessments. Job Description (What You'll Be Doing) Perform research and technical/engineering analysis necessary to create products that support the development of flight test target requirements, utilizing a parametric threat space (PTS) methodology. Conduct analysis involving development of bounds for PTS such as: kinematics, radar cross section (RCS), and infrared signatures using various software tools and analytical techniques. Participate in writing and reviewing products for accuracy, quality, and clarity, and will work closely with government Target Engineers to ensure products conform to engineering best practices. Required Skills (What Required Skills You Bring) BS/BA degree and at least 3 years of experience working on missile defense-related or other DoD projects. Active Secret security clearance is required. Ability to research and evaluate intelligence-based threat system performance data and identify relevant threat parameters for target to emulate threat characteristics and performance to support test objectives. Ability to utilize software tools to manipulate RCS and IR signature data to generate bounds. Experience in technical engineering, identification of risks, and preparing technical briefings. Preferred Skills (Desired but not Required) TS clearance is desired BS/BA degree in an engineering, math, statistics, or other related STEM field MDA experience Basic understanding of radar and optical systems Experience with tools such as MATLAB or Optical Signatures Code Experience in Anaconda or Python programming languages MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Position Requirements Clearance Required Secret Position Level Junior FT/PT Full Time Years Related Work Experience 3 Education Level Required 4-yr.
