About the role As an Autonomy Data Analyst on the Network Collaborative Autonomy team, you will be responsible for curating, analyzing, and reporting on autonomy data collected during test events on Group 1-5 aircraft. Your role will play a critical part in the development and optimization of autonomous systems for aircraft, ensuring that data-driven insights lead to continuous improvements in autonomy algorithms and performance. At EpiSci, you will: * Organize and manage autonomy data from test events involving Group 1-5 aircraft, ensuring data integrity and accessibility * Implement data cleaning and preprocessing techniques to ensure data quality prior to analysis * Analyze large sets of flight data to identify trends, anomalies, and performance metrics related to autonomous systems * Apply statistical and machine learning methods to extract meaningful insights from raw data * Work closely with test engineers, pilots, and software developers to ensure accurate data captured during test events is compliant with cybersecurity and data privacy policies We're looking for someone who has: * Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field * 4+ years of hands-on experience developing Python, C++, and R software for autonomous robotic systems * Experience in performing data analysis for aviation or maritime applications * Experience working with visualization in numpy or pandas (matplotlib, bokeh, holoviews, etc…) * Experience developing in Docker and containerized development environments, using Linux-based operating systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu), source control systems, and artifact registries Travel Requirements: * Must be willing to travel as projects requires; estimated average travel is once every other month for between 2 days up to 1 week (~20%) Security Requirements: * Must be a U.S. Citizen * Must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance For more information about U.S. security clearances: click here.
