**The mechanic position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and performing preventative maintenance on all types of diesel engines, concrete pumps, vehicles, equipment and hand tools within the company's fleet. Repairs shall be made in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner. The mechanic must have practical knowledge of all types of machinery and tools. The lead mechanic must have solid judgment and a good understanding of the potential consequences of the work they perform. The mechanic may also be asked in conjunction with the supervisor to evaluate and prioritize the work with part time mechanics. **Key responsibilities:**
+ Provides intermediate care to acutely ill patients in a progressive care unit
+ Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and other critical health metrics using advanced equipment to track progress and detect changes in status
+ Requires strong critical thinking, advanced technical skills, and effective communication to manage patients with complex needs who are recovering from conditions like heart failure or sepsis
+ Be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding environment
+ Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 2 years' current experience in critical care
+ Active Compact or RN License in GA
+ AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
+ Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment
**Pay Breakdown:**
+ $648 per week (taxable)
+ $1,127 per diem (non-taxable)
