**Responsibilities**
+ Operate CNC Mills to machine airplane landing gear parts.
+ Perform 1 to 2 set-ups per day for low volume parts.
+ Maintain tight tolerances of +/- .001.
+ Manage machine controls, including pulling and sending programs and tool changes.
+ Interpret setup sheets and tool lists.
+ Calculate offsets based on prints and adjust cutting pressures.
+ Use precision measuring equipment to inspect parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a job shop setting.
+ 3+ years experience interpreting blueprints and setup sheets.
+ 3+ years experience performing quality inspections using micrometers and calipers.
+ 3+ years experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1+ year of programming experience is a plus.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines, including both mill and lathe machines, in a job shop environment. The CNC machines are large, and you will work with G&M codes, edit programs using MasterCAM and Solidworks, and may utilize manual machines and grinders as needed. This position involves working with tolerances of +/- 0.001 and requires the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools effectively.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC machines, both mills and lathes.
+ Perform tooling changes and machine setups every shift.

+ Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

The role of CNC Machinist is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Adhere to production schedules by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, material specifications, locations, and machining parameters, and interpret complex geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Effectively operate CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. Apply basic math, geometry, trigonometry, and proving parts to determine calculating requirements, using G-code and/or conversational programming, as needed.
Correctly set-up CNC machines by programming, editing, installing, and adjusting tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, and indicating parts with minimal to no assistance.
Safely load raw material by lifting stock into position, and verify setting by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces, and adhering to international standards.
Ensure part(s) specifications by observing drilling, grooving and cutting, including turning, and facing. Take measurements to identify malfunctions, apply troubleshooting techniques, as needed, and take corrective measures by adjusting and editing existing programs, and replacing worn tools.
Properly maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer user instructions, appropriately troubleshooting malfunctions, and reporting issues for repairs timely.
Regularly educate and train other machinists on production, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy of parts and pieces.
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs; document actions by completing production and quality logs.

Associate Degree in Machining Technology or related field, plus three (3) years of CNC machining experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time Manual Machinist to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.
You will assist in the production of heavy industrial cranes using manual machining equipment while ensuring that innovation comes standard with every order.

Responsibilities:
Machine components using manual machining equipment
Perform machine setups and routine maintenance
Ability to work within tight tolerances
Use blueprints, sketches, and drawings to machine components
Inspect and measure components to ensure correct tolerances are met
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Will be trained on day shift, then position will turn to afternoon shift
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience working with manual horizontal mills, planer mills, and lathes
Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and drawings
Ability to use metrological instruments such as micrometers
Basic organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Willing and able to work 2nd shift (3:15 PM - 1:45 AM)
