SUMMARY
This position requires a mix of shipping and receiving skills including scheduling trucks for pickups, filling out packing slips, doing transactions in a computer system, etc. The best candidate will have an upbeat, positive attitude.
PAY: up to $20/hr depending on skills and experience.
SHIFTS: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday This is a small team, so flexibility with schedule depending on work volume is required

DUTIES:
Maintaining inventory accuracy and organization
Understand the principles of stock location and arrangement of materials
Pick and pack items for outbound
Using RF scanners
Using logistical systems for shipping/receiving
Need to be comfortable lifting 50lbs consistently.
Folding boxes to be used for shipping
Packing and labeling items for shipping
Unload shipping containers of product inbound.
Prepare containers to be shipped per customer requirements.
Keep daily logs, inventory, and rotate stock.
Prepare shipping documents in QuickShip via Epicor
Segregate non-conforming material.
Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
Perform receiving procedures.
Must support and follow the QMS requirements.
SKILLS:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year, of recent and consistent work experience in a warehouse environment.
Minimum 6 months working experience on a forklift.
Moderate computer knowledge (windows, email, ERP & WMS)
Highly preferred Epicor & QuickShip software experience!

Manages consumable inventories and communicates shortages
Helps to prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped such as Transfer Orders, Shipping Letters of Instructions, Export Declarations, etc.
Picks up and delivers materials and components as directed.
Signs for materials received, checks goods against packing slips and seeks direction when materials do not match or are damaged. May be required to apply product labeling for materials.
Process and deliver materials to appropriate personnel.
Performs cycle count and responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy within company set goals.
Maintain component inventories and integrity of paper and electronic records without direct supervision.
Notifies Supervisor of damaged or mixed materials.
