This position has 2 shift availabilities from 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am on a 2, 2, 3, schedule. Starting at up to $20-22 per hour! Starting immediately!
*Metatarsal guarded steel toe requirement* PPE Reimbursement Available
Duties include:
Die setup per schedule
Operation of an overhead crane to move and gather dies
Check tool stack for proper sizes
Properly setup dies and place in ready area
Assist press operator when making changes and setups
Occasionally pull random samples for Team Leaders to check conformity
Responsible for running the press while press operator takes breaks
Break down dies after extruded
Place dies in caustic area for cleaning and repair
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Department
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
Clean and organize your work area

Pries is looking for a Maintenance Technician to add to our night shift team! This is a swing shift from 6pm-6am of 2 on, 2 off, and every other weekend. Pay Range varies from $23-35/Hr depending on experience and shift.
Experience Needed: High School Diploma or (GED); or minimum two years of related experience working in an industrial maintenance department.
Hydraulic knowledge
PLC Experience
Motor experience preferred
Electrical Experience a plus
Position Summary: Safely perform preventative maintenance and repairs, to achieve company goals and meet customer needs based on available material, equipment, and manpower. Work well with others to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues based on personal and operator observation and investigation. Evaluate equipment reliability and take appropriate actions to improve performance. Be detail oriented, accept additional responsibility, and use good judgement when making decisions. Be able to multi task and prioritize tasks. Be reliable and motivated to solve problems daily with a positive attitude. Communicate both written and verbally on equipment needs and assessments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
Locates sources of problems by observing equipment in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools.
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
Evaluate equipment reliability and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment as needed
Complete PMs and work order repairs accurately and on time
Input thorough data into the CMMS system to track down time and inventory needs.
Complete improvement projects as assigned to improve efficiency and limit production down time
Be able to Lead a project or team with demonstrated Leadership ability.
Comply with and enforce all safety policies, practices, and procedures within the department. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Department, as well as assess immediate corrective actions

Extrusion Team Lead

Pries is looking to add an extrusion team lead to our production crew! These hours would be 6am-6pm on a 2, 2, 3 schedule. Starting pay at minimum $22 but based on experience.
Supervise all employee areas in extrusion production. Schedule and execute production; to achieve company goals and meet customer needs based on available material, equipment and manpower. Responsible for safety of employees under supervision. Understand and follow instructions. Work well with others, detail oriented, accept additional responsibility, use good judgement when making decisions, multi-task, organize and plan work by priority. Is reliable and motivated. Has strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Maintain a positive attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Supervise employee production, ensure productivity
Receive and delegate press schedules for continuous production flow
Learn all extrusion production positions to assist with production as needed
Arrange and assist in carrying out all die changes and alloy changes
Ensure proper materials are at the press for scheduled runs
Ensure operators are following press practice recipes and information within EPICS
Record, calculate and relay daily production reports
Challenge and improve on productivity and scrap at all times
Ensure all department goals are being met or exceeded
Cross train an efficient crew to cover for absenteeism
Promote and implement continuous improvement
Comply with and enforce with all safety policies, practices and procedures within the department. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Department, as well as assess immediate corrective actions

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise approximately 5-7 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Pries' policies and applicable laws. Train, plan, assign and direct work. Appraise performance; reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems.

Position guides according to specifications of cut
Check saw stop, blade and blade lubrication, of the material, chip collector and chip barrel.
Instruct saw help in keeping up with production and upholding quality standards, Team of 1 or 2
Ensure the stacking equipment is aligning material properly in the rack per balance standards
Create rack setups that ensure protection and prevent damage of metal
Direct saw help employees to ensure proper packing and stacking of material
