Briefly, benefits and annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week will be approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more depending on volume. The consultations are delivered utilizing a mobile unit pictured on our website. Medical Oncologist and NPs use the Meditech system for both scheduling and dictations, etc. 2 very experinced NPs in the practice. NP to take first call, then work with the Medical Oncologist on consults after hours and on weekends. 4 Patient Navigators - 1 primarily for Lung cancer, also Head & Neck cancer. Also a Certified Oncology Nurse Navigator 1 for colorectal cancer, GI/GU cancers, lymphomas 1 for Breast cancer, a part time Navigator in case the full time Navigator is out. Dedicated Social Worker and Dietician who can see our patients. Nursing staff is all trained by the Oncology Nursing Society Cancer Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy course. They are all cross trained to the care of Radiation patients since so many patients are receiving both modalities. Several of staff are OCN's. Several trained inpatient staff nurses with their ONS course should a patient need admitted for neutropenia, or oncologic emergencies. 5 cancer conferences/month (sometimes called tumor boards) - 2 breast conferences, 2 lung conferences, and one general conference.
