What You'll Do
Support up all clinics within Local Area.

Perform digital blocks and regional anesthesia, bedside procedures including but not limited to laceration repairs, suture/staple removal, incision & drainage, foreign body removal, large joint aspirations, nail removal, joint reductions, splinting, venipuncture, intravenous fluid administration.
Review and manage daily tasks, including patient callbacks regarding lab results.
Provide oversight and lead day-to-day operations for your team of medical assistants and support staff.
Consult supervising physician based on the scope of practice and patient needs.
About You
Medical/Master?s degree and certification
PA - Valid California license to practice as a Physician Assistant and current national certification.
Valid California license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and current national certification.
Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California.
Maintain a controlled substance DEA license.
Ability to consult and treat patients of all ages.
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities
You will conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and utilize advanced wound treatment technology. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess patient wounds and develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
Debridement of wounds by sharp, enzymatic or autolytic methods.
Application of topical wound care and associated wound management products.
Recommendation of associated services to improve wound healing outcomes. This includes, but is not limited to, labs, radiologic tests, vascular tests, referrals, home health care, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy device, and orthotics.
Interpretation of diagnostic tests and recommendation of appropriate follow up.
Recommendations for prescription of required medications and/or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to facilitate wound healing and/or wound prevention within her/his scope of practice, license and as per the collaborative agreement with the supervising physician.
Risk assessment for Members with Diabetes, as per the American Diabetes Association (ADA) guidelines.
Patient education and management.
Education of the Primary CarePhysician (PCP), Case Manager (CM), or referring Physician on current wound management practices.
Provide patient updates to PCP, CM, and Physicians.
Communicate in a clear and understandable manner using appropriate verbal and non-verbal styles.
Actively participate in departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals.
Assist with one-on-one training and coaching sessions as assigned.
Attend required meetings and participate as a committee member as requested.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a current state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experience in direct patient care, particularly in the homecare setting, is highly valued. Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovative wound treatment are essential.
Requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, lifting to 50 lbs. Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
