Essential Functions
Perform the normal and customary functions of a Nurse Practitioner.
Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
Act with a high degree of corporate responsibility relating to the use of resources, equipment and supplies to insure high quality patient care and fiscal responsibility.
Collaborate with staff, physicians, and administrative staff to determine the most appropriate site of care or patients and most cost-effective use of resources.
Provide prompt and clear communication about patient admission, condition changes, and discharge to clinicians responsible for outpatient care.
Provide clinical input into improvement of quality, patient safety, and patient and family satisfaction.
