Counseling and case management services are available on site seven days per week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Perform psychiatric assessments, formulate differential diagnoses, select and initiate appropriate treatment modalities, and order and monitor selected laboratory or routine diagnostic tests. Prescribe psychopharmacological agents, administer psychotropic medications, and provide ongoing medication management and related treatments to assigned patients. Work to ensure patient?s progress relative to established goals, reviewing and modifying treatment as necessary changes occur in conjunction with the patient and/or family. Strive to provide patients with a full range of required treatment services including rehabilitative and support services with an emphasis on patient self-direction. Collaborate with psychiatrist as needed to develop the most appropriate and effective psychotropic medication regimen according to the patient?s psychiatric history and active symptoms.
