As an MA/LPN/RN UC Flex Float, you need to know how to:
Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician, which could include casting, bracing, and injections.
Provide clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructions
Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients, including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment
Prepare basic laboratory tests on-premises and prepare laboratory specimens
Perform phlebotomy involved with the proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages
Assist the back office in managing patient flow, paperwork, and customer service
Provide quality customer service and patient education based on assessment of needs
