Primary Home Care company history timeline

1996

In 1996 Primary Home Care became one of the first agencies to participate in Michigan’s Mi-Choice Waiver Program.

The National Association for Home Care (1996) offers the following checklist of questions to ask when determining which home care provider to use.

1997

It should be noted that since 1997 there has actually been a decline in the number of Medicare-certified home health agencies due, at least in part, to changes in home health reimbursement regulations enacted as part of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997.

2014

In 2014 Primary Home Care added a third location expanding its superior level of in-home care services into West Michigan with the purchase of AngelCare Home Care serving Kentwood and the Grand Rapids area.

Medicaid payments for primary care services increase to 100% of the Medicare payment rate through 2014.

2021

PCC Sends Letter of Support for H.R. 3345, the Helping MOMS Act of 2021
