Responsibilities
Responsible for development, implementation, integration, and coordination of Food and Nutrition Services in Regions as specified under the Direction of the Corporate Director of FNS. Establishes working relationships with Administration and Leadership at the facility level. Oversees the food safety and nutritional care aspects of the Food and Nutrition Services to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies. Responsible for the management of fiscal and human resources, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and accreditation. We are seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse, sometimes referred to as a Cardiac RN or Cath Lab RN. A Cath Lab RN is essential in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of cardiac catheterization procedures, contributing significantly to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases specifically with the cardiac catheterization lab.
Bonus Options: up to $20,000

Responsibilities
** You must have experience in the Cath Lab or Critical Care area as a RN to move forward in this position. Critical Care RN with experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Room (ER) or Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVIC) are encouraged to apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Assess patients, obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures (
Pre-Procedure Preparation
)
Assist cardiologists during procedures such as angioplasties, stent placements, electrophysiological studies, and other cardiac interventions (
Intra-Procedure Assistance
)
Monitoring patient post-procedure for complications, provide post-procedure instructions, and ensuring patient stability before discharge or transfer to another unit
Operate and troubleshoot complex medical equipment used in the catheterization lab, such as hemodynamic monitors and other diagnostic tools
Quickly respond to any emergencies or complications that arise during procedures, such as arrhythmias, myocardial infarctions, or bleeding
Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including pre-procedure assessments, intra-procedure details, and post-procedure outcomes
Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac care and catheterization techniques
Qualifications
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required
Cath Lab experience; required
Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required
Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus
Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred
