Suggests modifications to treatment plans to the supervising respiratory therapist as appropriate. Job Role Summary Program Overview: The Student Nurse Extern Program is offered to nursing students who have completed their junior year of an accredited 4 year BSN program. The Student Nurse Extern performs functions of a student nurse under the guidance of an Eskenazi Health RN. The externship is a 9 week program with a 28-hour-per-week commitment, which includes a mandatory four-hour lecture on Friday of each week. The program will begin on May 26, 2026 and end July 26, 2026. Attendance is required for the entire 9 weeks.
