PrimeCare Medical is currently looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) to work as a Behavioral Health Professional in the medical department at the Lancaster County Prison in Lancaster, PA. This a Full-Time 40-hour position, with the following available schedules: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm) with rotation of evening shift (11:30am-8:00pm) and Saturday shift as needed. Tuesday- Saturday (8:00am- 4:30pm) Monday- Friday (11:30am-8:30pm) with no rotation of Saturdays required. Job Responsibilities: Conduct clinical assessments based on referrals and self-referrals. Assessments include documentation of findings, including at a minimum a mental status examination and case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment plan. Prescribing therapeutic modalities such as medications and diets in accordance with regulations. This position is exciting and fast paced, and as such we must have someone who is able to multi-task well and has excellent time management skills. They must also have the ability to work independently and be comfortable with making patient diagnosis on their own. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant program. Board Certified. Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Pennsylvania. Maintain current DEA license. Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification. Maintain current Driver?s License.
