OPERATIONS MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations, including leading the operations team, coordinating with airlines and airport authorities, and ensuring the implementation of operational procedures and policies. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, this role is key in crisis management, handling emergencies and disruptions in close collaboration with senior leadership. Continuous analysis and improvement of operational processes to increase overall efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage the delivery of services for customer airlines and airports in accordance with the contract and within the agreed budget level
· Ensure safety and security policies and procedures are in accordance with all applicable standards set
· Liaise with airline station managers, airport operations managers, handling agents, Customs, Immigration and Security officials, and other airport stakeholders
· Manage local Recruiting and Staffing initiatives, following recruiting and hiring policies and procedures and ensuring staffing levels are maintained to meet internal/external service level/quality assurance standards
· Monitor performance and take action to correct any shortfalls
· Collaborate with Senior leadership operational gaps, irregularities and audits
· Guide and mentor the local team
· Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and irregularities, including work-related accidents/incidents, passenger incidents involving PrimeFlight employees and property and/or aircraft damage
· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws as well as required security measures
· Promote and support workplace diversity initiatives
· Assist and/or lead startup operations across all lines of business
· The ability to backfill open leadership positions during times of vacancy
· Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
· 18 years of age or older
· Eligible to work in the United States
· Ability to work in office, onsite, Monday-Fridayâ¯
· 5 years of Leadership/Operational experience
· Established leader in managing large teams
· Project Management experience is a plus
· In-depth knowledge of airport operational procedures and regulatory requirements
· Strong leadership and team management skills
· Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record

4. Coordinate the return of lost and/or damaged luggage to customers. Prepare bag delivery orders and arrange for delivery using bag delivery services or other available means.
5. Process and secure unclaimed luggage, updates BMAS and create a BMAS on-hand record in SABRE. Coordinate on-hand bags, update BMAS desk requests, contact passengers regarding unclaimed baggage.
6. Coordinate with Ramp services regarding bag deliveries, missing bags. Update records with late arriving bag information.
7. Assist customers with Skycap requests.
8. Monitor baggage delivery and complete baggage delivery quality checklist.

4. Must ensure agents coordinate the return of delayed luggage to customers. Must ensure agents are preparing Bag Delivery Orders properly and arranging for deliver promptly.
5. Must ensure agents process and secure unclaimed luggage within 90 minutes, updates files and creates an on hand record in SABRE. Must ensure that agents contact the passengers immediately upon arrival of unclaimed bags if phone number or address is available.
6. Must ensure solid communication with Ramp services regarding bag deliveries or missing bags.
7. Must be familiar with all FAA/Airline/Company regulations.
8. Must keep Baggage Manager informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work and report maintenance needs.

23. Must coach and counsel agents on Disciplinary Action Forms for attendance, code 39s, customer complaints etc. Ensure that coaching and counseling of agents is fair and consistent. Agents must be coached and counseled within 48 hours of incident. Disciplinary Action forms should be kept in the employee's personnel file.
24. Ensure that agents are 100% compliant on recurrent/ongoing training.
25. Keep proper records and documentation of all checks and travel vouchers that are distributed. Ensure that the check log is updated. You are responsible and held accountable for your die plate.
26. Perform other duties as requested.

· Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
· Collaborate with regional managers to ensure consistent service quality and operational excellence across all airports
· Identify market trends and opportunities, conducting market research and competitive analysis
· Develop and manage national budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet financial goals
· Lead the negotiation of national contracts and agreements with airline partners and clients
· Foster a culture of safety, quality, and customer service excellence throughout the national team
· Implement performance metrics and KPIs to track and report on the division's performance

· Minimum age of 18 years old
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport operations or management, with a proven track record in a leadership role
· Extensive knowledge of the aviation industry, including regulatory and operational standards
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple locations and teams effectively
· Knowledge of the Aviation Industry
· Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets

QUALIFICATIONS
· 18 years of age or older
· Eligible to work in the United States
· Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
