We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Master Planner/Scheduler to join our team in our Maryland facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle. The Master Planner/Scheduler will provide timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.
Responsibilities:
- Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
- Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule.
- Support purchasing of expedite suppliers purchase orders if required.
- Utilize ERP system to auto-generate manufacturing work orders.
- Release manufacturing work orders.
- Coordinate with production team to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding production schedules and delivery dates.
- Identify and resolve production issues to ensure on-time delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Responsible for assuring that assigned activities are performed in accordance with their Quality Management System
Lead team in the creation, revision and optimization of offline and online CMM programs/reports to reflect customer print specification requirements
Delegate priority list of programming and production support through CMM Programming/Operating team.
Create CMM set up and operational instruction to part/ machine specific.
Analyze and interpret CMM reports to determine adherence to customer prints, specifications
Train and oversee use of CMM by inspectors; Train other CMM Programmers on more technically involved parts/processes as needed.
Responsible for daily, weekly maintenance of CMM machines
Responsible to ensure that the CMM Software (Calypso) is up to date and maintained.
Ensure programs and all data generated by the CMM machines are stored correctly and backed up
Provide support to QC team with FAI, In-Process or Final Inspection activities as needed.
Prepare detailed inspection report such as written descriptions of inspection results, statistical analysis reports
Provides technical assistance and training to production, manufacturing engineering, and quality personnel
Serve as technical expert for GD&T and interpretation of AMSE Y14.5M. Stay current with GD&T standards, terminology and inspection methodologies
Understand and follow internal inspection procedures and maintain inspection records
Understand and maintain the ERP system per company policies
Keep current with industry inspection techniques, practices and required standards. Be willing to perform other duties as assigned (Calibration, Audits, CAPA, Customer Complaints, RMAs, etc.)
Perform First Piece, Lot and Final Inspections against customer requirements
Requirements
Must be eligible to obtain Secret level security clearance
Strong verbal and written communication
First Article Inspection experience and data reporting
Proven ability to troubleshoot CMM faults
CMM work experience required
Aerospace experience desired
2+ years Calypso Zeiss CMM software experience
Must have Calypso programming language experience
