Prepares reports of accidents and incidents that occur on the bus;

EXAMINATION PROCEDURE

Learns to investigate and resolve disputes resulting from license suspensions, tax intercepts and other remedies used to enforce and collect child support;

May learn to assist at orientation sessions for new applicants or for non-custodial parents by presenting information about child support program services and related services that may be helpful;
May learn to represent the State as complainant in order to obtain or enforce court orders for support;
Performs other related duties. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ensure that incarcerated individuals adhere to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Regulations in food sanitation and food safety in an institutional setting.
Search incarcerated individuals in order to prevent concealment of equipment, cutlery, food and other unauthorized items.
Maintain control and discipline of incarcerated individuals working in kitchen and dining room areas while keeping a continual count.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician Trainee at the Murray Developmental Center located in Centralia, Illinois. The incumbent will, for a period of time from six (6) and not to exceed twelve (12) months, receive instruction and training in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Conducts activities and programs and escorting of individuals to participate in the receipt of community services. Attends formal classes for instruction in the basic elements of nursing practices and techniques and to gain an elementary understanding of the causes, nature, treatment and habilitation of mental illness or developmental disabilities.
Essential Functions
For a period from six (6) and not to exceed twelve (12) months, receives instruction and training in caring for individuals with mental illness or developmental disabilities.
Observes the technical staff in the general performance of technical duties carried out within a unit/cottage related to resident's general care and management in compliance of resident's rehabitation plan.
Receives training in techniques of observation of residents, reports on their behavior and interacts with them in a positive manner.
Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly unit by performing general housekeeping tasks, such as spot mopping, cleaning spills, wiping tables and making of beds and lifting up 50 pounds.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

For over 50 years, FLETC has grown into the Nation's largest provider of law enforcement training. Under a collaborative training model, FLETC's federal participating organizations deliver training unique to their missions, while FLETC provides training in areas common to all law enforcement officers, such as firearms, driving, tactics, investigations, active shooter and legal training.

POSITION DUTIES
This recruitment will be used to fill contractual positions for PSCS Alcohol and Drug Certified Supervised Counselor Provisional. The Alcohol and Drug (A/D) Supervised Counselor Provisional (ADT-Alcohol & Drug Trainee) is the full performance level of work, at the Alcohol and Drug Trainee Level. Employees in this classification will counsel clients with substance use disorders by using intervention, treatment and rehabilitation. Employees in this classification do not supervise. The Alcohol and Drug (A/D) Certified Supervised Counselor Provisional (ADT-Alcohol & Drug Trainee) receives close supervision from an Alcohol and Drug Certified Associate Counselor Supervisor or other supervisor approved by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. Employees in these classifications will: Screen clients with substance use disorders to determine the most appropriate initial course of action with regard tosubstance treatment Assess clients with substance use disorders to gather and interpret information necessary for planning treatment andevaluating client progress Develop client treatment plans and strategies to obtain the desired treatment outcomes Make referrals to facilitate the client's use of available support systems and community resources in response to needsidentified in clinical evaluation Respond to clients in crises Provide life skills education relevant to the recovery process to clients with substance use disorders, their families,significant others and community groups Document client-related information in accordance with accepted principles of client record management Adhere to accepted ethical and behavioral standards of conduct and participates in continuing professional development
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

In accordance with Health Occupations Title 17 and Code of Maryland Regulations 10.58.07, employees in this classification must apply for and receive a letter of authorization to practice as a trainee from the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists within 90 days of their date of hire. 2. In accordance with Health Occupations Title 17 employees in this classification must also successfully obtain certification from the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a Certified Supervised Counselor within one year of meeting the experience requirement for a Certified Supervised Counselor. 3. Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Employees in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs. 2. Employees in this classification perform the work in a Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) or a Maryland State certified addictions program.

BENEFITS
Contractual employees who work for an agency covered under the State Employee and Retiree Health and Welfare Benefits Program, have a current employment contract and work 30 or more hours a week (or on average 130 hours per month) may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage for themselves and their dependents. As a contractual employee, you will be responsible for paying 25% of the premiums for your medical and prescription coverage, including any eligible dependents you have enrolled. The State of Maryland will subsidize the remaining 75% of the cost for these benefits. You can also elect to enroll in dental coverage, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and life insurance, but will be responsible to pay the full premium for these benefits. Leave may be granted to a contractual employee who has worked 120 days in a 12 month period. This leave accrues at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
