About This Role: The Deputy Clerk to the Board of County Supervisors provides high-level administrative, legislative, and policy support to the Board of County Supervisors. This position is responsible for assisting with official Board proceedings, records management, and compliance with state and local laws, while also conducting policy research, analysis, and briefing on issues before the Board. The role requires discretion, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with elected officials, department leadership, and the public. Responsibilities in this role may include, but are not limited to: * Assist in planning, preparing, and supporting Board of County Supervisors meetings, including the preparation and review of the agenda, staff reports, resolutions, ordinances, and meeting packets. * Support Board of County Supervisors Legislative Committee, including the preparation of the agenda and meeting material, notice and management of meetings, and other duties as needed. * Attend Board, Committee, and special meetings; finalize official actions and documents for the permanent record. * Conduct research and analysis on policy issues, legislative proposals, and programs under consideration by the Board of Supervisors Legislative Committee, as directed. * Prepare policy briefs, issue summaries, comparative analyses, and recommendations, as directed. * Assist with drafting reports, memoranda, and presentations that clearly communicate complex policy issues to elected officials and the public, as directed. * Ensure meetings are properly noticed and are held in accordance with applicable laws and regulations governing public meetings, records retention, and transparency (FOIA). * Coordinate with county departments, elected officials, and external agencies to collect, review, edit, and post meeting materials for the Board Committee based on established deadlines and procedural requirements. * Research, analyze, and evaluate issues and policies identified by the Board or Legislative Committee. * Provide the Clerk's Office with general administrative support, including records management through Laserfiche and general oversight of the county's various Boards, Committees, and Commissions (BCCs). * Develop an orientation program for BCC members and a training program for staff liaisons. * Participate in special projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives related to Board operations or county governance. * Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive information and policy deliberations. * Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: * High School Diploma or G.E.D. * Four years of full-time experience in local government administration, records, management, and policy analysis. Preferences: * Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field. * Experience working with elected officials and/or members of an executive management team. * Municipal or legal clerk experience preferred. * Designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) or Master Municipal Clerk (MMC), or the ability to obtain within an agreed-upon period. * Strong knowledge of Robert's Rules of Order, FOIA, and local government law. * Familiarity with standard records management practices, including the Library of Virginia's general schedules and retention requirements. * High proficiency with Microsoft Office products with an aptitude to work within various computer programs and systems; familiarity with Granicus and Laserfiche is a plus. * Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Work Schedule: This position works a standard Monday to Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week. Attendance at evening meetings may be necessary on occasion. We are seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Intensive Care Coordinator Therapist III position in the New Horizons Intensive Care Coordination Program. This is a SAMHSA Grant-funded position that goes through 9/29/2027. About This Role: New Horizons Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) Program offers a team environment and flexible work hours. NH ICC Therapist III will support their team by serving as a coach, mentor, and trainer through appropriate supervision of clinical staff. Job Responsibilities Include: * Provide essential leadership in the creation and maintenance of a positive and collaborative working environment where all Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) staff and enrolled youth and their families feel respected and supported * Maintains a caseload of ICC clients * Provide clinical and administrative supervision for clinical staff * Provide clinical supervision for professional licensure candidates * Utilizing the high-fidelity wraparound (HFW) framework, conducting comprehensive assessments, including ASAM Criteria and DLA-20, including formulating diagnoses * Developing and implementing ICC treatment plans to promote progress of clients * Ensuring program compliance with maintaining clinical documentation in Electronic Health Record according to agency, Medicaid, MCO and licensure policies and procedures * Provides crisis intervention services. * Provides case consultation of crisis intervention services for supervisees or other Therapist II's * Write, revise, and distribute team plans of care for each team meeting and FAPT reports as needed * Documentation of all services, contacts and attempted contact with clients, their family and collaterals * Attend all mandatory county and state trainings on ICC and High-Fidelity Wraparound, to include refresher trainings. Participate in individual and group ICC coaching, as required * Carry an after-hours work phone and provide telephonic and, at times, face-to-face after-hours support to youth and families Minimum Requirements: * Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral science field * 4 years of direct, clinical experience in providing children's mental health services to children with a mental health diagnosis (This is a requirement of this service) * 2-3 years of experience providing services to children, adolescents, and families with issues related to mental health, substance use, and co-occurring in a community-based setting * 1-2 years of professional-level supervisory experience Preferences: * Experience providing direct clinical services to youth and families with complex mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders * Experience providing clinical supervision to therapists in the family/child serving human services system * Experience with and providing the High-Fidelity Wraparound Model and Intensive Care Coordination services * Demonstrated completion of training in the national model of High-Fidelity Wraparound as required for supervisors * Experience providing crisis intervention and risk management * Experience collaborating with other human services system service providers * Bilingual and multilingual candidates encouraged to apply Special Requirements: * Candidate must be licensed in Virginia as an LPC or LCSW * Must complete training in the national model of High-Fidelity Wraparound as required for supervisors and management/administrators * Must possess a valid driver's license * Must pass DMV record check * Must pass TB test * Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR certification * Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint-based National Criminal History Record Check * Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services Work Schedule: This full-time position, based in our Worth Avenue office, requires a 5-day work week that may include some evening hours. Starting Salary Range: $82,777.50-$111,033.00 This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of $5,000. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments. The first installment of $2,500 is payable after ninety (90) days of employment have been completed. The final $2,500 installment will be due upon completion of the probationary period.
