Summary:
+ The Medical Gas Equipment Technician is responsible for all medical gas systems and related equipment throughout PMPH locations including Main Hospitals and off-site facilities (Monroe) the hospital. This includes oxygen, nitrous oxide, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and ensures they operate safely and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. The technician works closely with clinical engineering, facilities management, and healthcare staff to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted delivery of medical gases critical to patient care. Responsibilities:
+ Handles and maintains medical gases including but not limited to Monitor cylinder gas inventory and ensure adequate supply and distribution to all departments and areas Work with supplier for ordering and maintaining par levels at assigned locations Maintain cylinder gas inventory levels by placing and processing orders for additional products Responsible for identifying low levels and notifying supplier Receive cylinder gas deliveries and deliver cylinders to use points within the service sites Change out gas cylinders at end user manifolds at the service sites Responsible for keeping the tank supply area neat and organized Maintains manifold room gas systems assuring adequate pressures and gas levels. Monitors these levels daily. Safely maintains inventory of medical gas cylinders and the proper functioning of regulators Ensures adequate supply and distribution to all other departments and locations
+ Monitors locations (PMPH and off-site locations) of storage to ensure they meet current standards for storage of compressed cylinder. Will also work with unit Leadership to assure that all appropriate compliances are within standards.

The Antepartum Unit (APU) is a Level III, tertiary care facility located on the third floor of the Preston Building, which provides the following services:

Summary:
+ The unit clerk is an integral member of the patient care team who delivers quality care through collaboration and communication with team members. They work under the direct supervision of the nurse manager and the registered nurse to support the clerical and secretarial operations of the patient care unit. Responsible for key clerical functions and communication between the patient care team and patients/families. **Responsibilities:**

Maintains patient's chart during transport and ensures confidentiality of patient information at all times.**
+ **Utilizes "Safe Patient Handling" techniques when transferring patients to wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, and procedure tables. Assists hospital staff with the movement of patients as needed.**
+ **Secures patient and any appropriate equipment prior to lifting, moving or transporting. When required assures adequate oxygen tank, IVs, drainage tubes, etc. are available prior to start of transport and upon arrival to destination. Connects patient to appropriate monitoring devices prior to and upon completion of every telemetry transport.**
+ **Immediately alerts care providers, as well as the Dispatcher, Shift Supervisor/Manager/Director to any signs of patient distress, equipment malfunction, and unsafe conditions**
+ **Clocks in and out of E*Star on time and promptly logs into appropriate transport tracking system within the department designated timeframe of scheduled shift time. When necessary advises dispatcher of availability in a timely manner. Acknowledges receipt of assignment, updates whereabouts immediately upon arrival and exit from location or destination, and acknowledges completion of assignments in real time.**
+ **Informs patient of any pending actions prior to attaching monitoring equipment including BP Cuffs, Monitor Leads, Pulse Ox, etc.**
+ **When not assigned to active transports utilize downtime to check and properly store Department equipment.**

+ **Obtains passing score on annual dysrhythmia recertification exam.**

**Summary:**
+ The Lead Phlebotomist Laboratory Assistant performs phlebotomy duties and also acts as the area lead under the direction of the laboratory supervisor or manager. The Lead is responsible for the monitoring and coordinating the workflow of the phlebotomy section of the inpatient and/or outpatient laboratories assigned by redirecting personnel resources to ensure the smooth care of patients. The incumbent will be responsible for ordering and maintain supplies and equipment, orienting/training staff, and maintaining policies, procedures, and quality performance practices. + **Shift:** Every Friday & Sat night from 9:00pm - 9:30am with holiday on call rotations.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assists in overall daily operations of the section, which includes scheduling, ordering, stocking and managing supplies
+ Organizes and assigns workload for AM/PM collection/monitors inpatient and outpatient areas
+ Monitors turnaround time of AM/PM collection process and recommends enhancements
+ Receives feedback from Manager/Supervisors regarding quality of specimens collected
+ Reports appropriate feedback to Manager/Supervisors, and relays instructions to phlebotomists as required to enhance the quality of specimens
+ Receives and resolves problems and complaints associated with inpatient/outpatient blood draws and reports to Manager/Supervisor.

Position Description:
Penn Medicine Princeton Health is looking for a per diem Physician Assistant to join their busy Surgery Department.
This position is primarily operating room based. The Physician Assistant performs as a first assistant to surgeons during operative procedures in the inpatient and outpatient care settings at Princeton Health. Multispecialty surgeries included: Orthopedics, Plastic surgery, Robotic surgery, Gynecologic surgery, ENT and C-sections.
The Physician Assistant demonstrates competency in the performance of operative and procedural skills. Applies principles of asepsis and infection control. Provides appropriate positioning, prepping and draping of the patient. Applies knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and operative technique relative to the surgical procedure. Provides hemostasis, retraction and anatomical exposure. Performs wound closure and applies surgical dressings, casts and immobilizing devices.
The Physician Assistant works independently and collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals to support a comprehensive plan of care. Communicates effectively with physicians, team members, nursing and ancillary staff. Participates in daily rounds in the inpatient setting. Provides appropriate pre-operative and post-operative care. Documents appropriate information into the medical record, orders diagnostic tests and prescribes medications to support a comprehensive plan of care. Develops and maintains specialty skill sets as required (i.e., Robotics). Maintains certifications as required. Demonstrates commitment to professional growth by participation in continuing medical education activities.
Hours: Per Diem. Dayshift, 7:00am-3:30pm. No weekends or on-call.
Minimum Requirements:
Current licensure as a Physician Assistant.
National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistant.
Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.
Master of Arts or Science required.
